The complete [expression is] οὐ γὰρ ἀλλά μοι ἐστὶν ἀκουστέα . Meaning very much so. Aristophanes in Frogs [writes this].[1] And in Knights [he writes]: "go away, for gratitude [is] for the provider". Meaning indeed gratitude [is] for the provider.[2]

Οὐ γάρ μ' οὔ 'στιν ἀλλ' ἀκουστέον: τὸ τέλειον, οὐ γὰρ ἀλλά μοι ἐστὶν ἀκουστέα. ἀντὶ τοῦ πάνυ γάρ. Ἀριστοφάνης Βατράχοις. καὶ ἐν Ἱππεῦσιν: ἄπιθ': οὐ γὰρ ἀλλὰ τοῦ παραθέντος ἡ χάρις. ἀντὶ τοῦ καὶ γὰρ τοῦ παραθέντος ἡ χάρις.

[1] Aristophanes, Frogs 1180 (with scholion), where the text reads οὐ γάρ μοὔστιν ἀλλ' ἀκουστέα (web address 1). The Suda's version has misinterpreted μοὔστιν as crasis for μοι οὐ ἐστιν instead of μοί ἐστιν , thus introducing an extra negative.
