From Stephanus of Byzantium s.v., whose location information is inaccurate. In fact, Nikonion is located at the mouth of the river Tyras (the present-day Dniester), some 90 km. northeast of the Istros delta. See also Strabo 7.3.16 (web address 1), where the city is accurately located on the Tyras.
