Notes:
The headword is attested only in Homer, Iliad 23.604 (web address 1); see also the corresponding scholia and Eustathius ad loc.. The word is glossed in Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon and in Hesychius nu327 as synonymous with νεότης , youth.
[1] Adler's addenda and corrigenda corrects this noun from the ἐπίρρημα ("adverb") originally printed, to χρῆσις .
