The headword is a participle, feminine nominative singular, of the perfect me/mhka, but is here glossed as if from me/mona; see mu 554 s.v. memaui=a (which has surely contaminated the present entry), and cf. mu 552, mu 571. Hesychius mu777 has appropriate glossing, and see also the scholia on the plural memakui=ai in Homer, Iliad 4.135.
