An entry textually garbled, both here and in Photius (mu608 Theodoridis), but it can be corrected in the light of its more distant source, Harpokration. The authentic version of the name is Moirokles/Moerocles, and the second half of the entry should read tw=n par' *)aqhnai/ois ou)k a)fanw=s politeusame/nwn, "[he was one] of those among [the] Athenians who had engaged in public life in no inconspicuous way".
