Μόρυχος: ὅπερ ἔοικε Μορύχου γένος καὶ σάγμα. σάγμα δὲ ἡ θήκη τοῦ ὅπλου. καὶ παροιμία: Μορύχου εὐηθέστερος: ἐπὶ τῶν εὔηθές τι διαπραττομένων. ἐπίθετον δέ ἐστι τοῦ Διονύσου, ἀπὸ τοῦ μορύξαι, ὅ ἐστι μολῦναι, ἐπειδὰν τρυγῶσι, τῶν βοτρύων τῷ γλεύκει καὶ τοῖς χλωροῖς σύκοις.
