From the scholia to Thucydides 2.97.3 (web address 1), on tribute in kind to the ruling elite of the Odrysian Empire. This neuter plural is noted in LSJ s.v. as "of cloths, smooth, plain, not embroidered"; Thuc. writes ὅσα ὑφαντά τε καὶ λεῖα , "woven stuffs, both plain and embroidered".
