Same entry, according to Adler, in the Ambrosian Lexicon. In more explicit lexica and grammars Karneion is said to be the name of a city. Perhaps to be identified (or at least connected) with Karnion in northern Lakonia: Polybius 5.19.4, etc.
It is here in the genitive case, evidently quoted from somewhere but not independently attested.
