A deacon in Heliopolis-on-Lebanon.[1] In the time of Constantine the Great[2] he smashed many idols. But in the time of Julian[3] they cut open his belly and devoured his liver.[4]
Apparently a paraphrase of Theodoret, Historia ecclesiastica 3.7 Parmentier (182.9 Parmentier-Scheidweiler); also paraphrased by Theophanes Confessor, Chronographica 47.30; Cedrenus 1.532; Chronicon Paschale 546.8.

[2] kappa 2284, kappa 2285.
