[1] Similarly at Photius, Lexicon kappa1068 Theodoridis, which cites 'Aristotle'. Theodoridis, following Dindorf, proffers the instance of the related verb κραυρᾶν in History of Animals 603b7. For the intermediate source Adler adduced the epitome of the Hist.An. by Aristophanes of Byzantium, but this passage is not found there.
