kwlh=non appears to be a corruption of
kwlh/nion, the diminutive of
kwlh/n (see under
kappa 2236) "thigh" (so Küster), or
kwlh/pion, the diminutive of
kw/lhy (
kappa 2238) "hollow of knee" (so Bernhardy). The gloss in turn is a mispelling of
kwlh/kion, a diminutive of
kw/lhc, which LSJ defines as synonymous to
kw/lhy. Neither diminutive is otherwise attested.
