Headword: Κοκύμηλα
Adler number: kappa,1919

Vetting Status: high

A kind of fruit.[1] We call them berikokka.[2]
Greek Original:
Κοκύμηλα: εἶδος ὀπωρῶν. τὰ παρ' ἡμῖν λεγόμενα βερίκοκκα.
Notes:
The neuter headword itself (here plural) is more usually spelled kokk-, as in beta 513.
[1] Same glossing, according to Adler, in the Ambrosian Lexicon.
[2] In ancient and modern Greek alike this is the word for an apricot, so there seems to be confusion here.
