Similar entry in the Etymologicum Magnum 514.3-5: Herodotus (below) is quoted, with a different interpretation of the Ionic relative pronoun ta\ (see Smyth ยง338D3) and variation between single and double nu in "cinnamon" (but the Suda is generally inconsistent about single and double consonants anyway).
