Notes:
There is confusion here with kappa 1505, q.v.
[1] Likewise or similarly in other lexica, and cf. the scholia to Homer, Odyssey 13.2.
[2] This gloss is unparalleled elsewhere in this form, and emendation of the final participle (transmitted as kataklw=sa), which makes no sense here anyway, has been suggested: katakhlou=sa in the editio princeps, persuasively citing Diogenes Laertius 7.114 (kh/lhsis ... e)stin h(donh\ di' w)/twn katakhlou=sa); kataxalw=sa Bernhardy, with (looser) reference to this verb in a scholion on Thucydides 1.94.2.
[3] Similarly in other lexica, and cf. the scholia to Homer, Odyssey 11.334.
