The Hebrew woman who killed Holophernes, the general of Cambyses the son of Cyrus. She took all Holophernes' possessions and dedicated them to God. Then she returned to her house, practiced virtue and asceticism, and died when she had lived 105 years.

Ἰουδήθ, Ἑβραία ἡ τὸν Ὁλοφέρνην, τὸν ἀρχιστράτηγον Καμβύσου τοῦ υἱοῦ Κύρου, ἀνελοῦσα, τὰ τοῦ Ὁλοφέρνου πάντα λαβοῦσα ταῦτα ἀνέθηκε τῷ θεῷ: καὶ ὑποστρέψασα ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτῆς, ἀρετὴν καὶ ἄσκησιν ἔχουσα ἐτελεύτησεν ρε# ἔτη βιώσασα.
