Ἴξαλος: πηδητικός. ἐν Ἐπιγράμμασι: ἴξαλον εὐσκάρθμῳ, λόχμιον ὑλοβάτᾳ, Πανὶ φιλοσκοπέλῳ λάσιον παρὰ πρῶνα Χαρικλῆς κνακὸν ὑπηνήταν τόνδ' ἀνέθηκε τράγον. καὶ αὖθις: πρόσθε μὲν ἀγραύλοιο διατριχὸς ἰξάλου αἰγὸς δοῖον ἐπὶ χώροις ἐστεφόμην πετάλοις.
