Ἰάλεμος: ὁ ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀπολωλόσιν ἀνίαν φέρων. καὶ παροιμία, Ἰαλέμου ψυχρότερος. Ἰάλεμον τὸν θρῆνόν φασι. λέγουσι δὲ αὐτὸν υἱὸν Καλλιόπης, κακοδαίμονα καὶ ὑστερούμενον καὶ ὀρφανόν.
