Vetting Status: high

[Meaning] they perceived.

Notes:
This entry was considered by Adler to be from the Lexicon Ambrosianum even though it occurs neither in Ambrosianus B12 sup. nor in Laurentianus 59.16.
The headword verb (which must be quoted from somewhere) is pluperfect, third person plural, of οἶδα (see eta 78).
Hesychius eta110 and the Glossarium Cyrilli (Vallicellianus E11 fol. 98r) gloss it with ἠπίσταντο, ἐγίνωσκον , 'they were acquainted , they perceived'. See also eta 82 and eta 84.
