Neuter nominative/accusative plural and singular of the adjective ἠτριαῖος or ἠτραῖος , from ἦτρον "belly, abdomen" (eta 636, eta 637). Both are evidently quoted from somewhere, the former perhaps from comica adespota fr. 863 Kock, now 765 K.-A.: ἠτριαῖα τεμάχη "tripe slices".
