[1] The headword (presumably extracted from the quotation immediately following) is pluperfect middle, third person singular, of ἐσθέω ; cf. epsilon 3119, eta 591.
[2] Quotation (again at kappa 2461) unidentifiable.
[3] From Aelian fr. 75 Domingo-Forasté (72 Hercher); cf. eta 350, eta 605, kappa 2461. Its relevance to the present entry is a mystery; Adler notes Bernhardy's view that it belongs with eta 605.
