The headword adjective is here accusative plural. It must be quoted from somewhere, but not Homer, Iliad 16.260, where, referring to wasps' nests, it is dative plural. Instances of the accusative plural do survive but it is hard to find one where the present gloss is appropriate. The closest -- but still, arguably, not close enough -- is Plutarch, Aemilius Paullus 8.7: Philip V of Macedon neglects those of his cities (poleis) which were e)nodi/ous kai\ paraqalatti/ous.
