Headword: *)embri/mhma
Adler number: epsilon,964
Translated headword: indignation
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Meaning] an utterance with anger.
Greek Original:
*)embri/mhma: to\ met' o)rgh=s la/lhma.
Notes:
Same entry in ps.-Zonaras and, according to Adler, the Ambrosian Lexicon. It is seemingly generated by Lamentations 2.6 LXX, where the headword (a neuter noun: thus, as the gloss, a specimen rather than a state of indignation) occurs in the dative singular. Compare Hesychius epsilon2317 on that dative, glossed with kinh/mati.
See epsilon 963 for the related verb.
