Headword: Ἐκπερᾶναι
Adler number: epsilon,558
Translated headword: to accomplish
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[(?)Meaning he/she/it] has been worked out.
Greek Original:
Ἐκπερᾶναι: ἐκπεπόνηται.
Notes:
Entry lacking, Adler reports, in mss GTFV, a marginal addition in A, and placed earlier in G.
Since the headword is the aorist active infinitive of the verb ἐκπεραίνω , the gloss is obviously a mismatch for it. A possible explanation is that ἐκπερᾶναι , like περᾶναι (pi 1030), is unglossed, leaving ἐπεπόνηται as another unglossed entry (albeit slightly out of alphabetical order) in its own right. The latter might be quoted from Xenophon, Cyropaedia 8.2.5, though there are other possibilities.
