[1] Third person singular, imperfect, of ἐφοδηγέω -- attested only here -- from ἐπὶ and ὁδηγέω , from ὁδός "road" and ἄγω "lead" (cf. omicron 36).
[2] Also third person singular, imperfect, but of a different verb: ποδηγέω (from ποδηγός , from ποδ- "foot" and ἄγω "lead"; cf. pi 1844). Extant instances are mainly in Theodoret, and see already epsilon 2793.
