Ἐσταλμένοι: ἐσκευασμένοι. νεανίαι χωρητικῶς ἐσταλμένοι. καὶ αὖθις: πάντας δὲ ὡς ἁβρότατά τε καὶ ἅμα ἐς ἔκπληξιν κατὰ πλοῦτον, τῷ γε δὴ πλοῦτον θαυμάζοντι, ἐσταλμένους.
Notes:
[1] The headword, presumably extracted from the first quotation given, is perfect middle/passive participle, masculine nominative plural, of the verb στέλλω .
[2] Synesius, Epistle 104.60-61 (205C Hercher). The mss of Synesius, with one exception, read either χωρικῶς or χωριτικῶς ('country-style') rather than χωρητικῶς ('capably').
[3] Quotation (already at alpha 88) unidentifiable. (Adler suggests Aelian.)
