Bishop of Constantia, formerly [called] Salamine,[1] in Cyprus. He wrote treatises against all heresies, which are called Panaria, and many other works. Educated people read these because of their content, but ordinary people read them because of their language. He died in extreme old age.[2]

Ἐπιφάνιος, Κωνσταντείας τῆς Κύπρου ἐπίσκοπος, τῆς πρότερον Σαλαμίνης. ἔγραψε κατὰ πασῶν τῶν αἱρέσεων λόγους, ἃ Πανάρια λέγονται, καὶ ἕτερα πολλά: ἅτινα παρὰ μὲν τῶν πεπαιδευμένων διὰ τὰ πράγματα, παρὰ δὲ τῶν ἰδιωτῶν διὰ τὰ ῥήματα ἀναγινώσκεται. τελευτᾷ ἐσχατόγηρως.
