[1] Likewise in ps.-Zonaras. The headword is third person singular, aorist middle, of dwre/w (cf. epsilon 260, delta 1477). It might be extracted from the quotation which follows, though ps.-Zonaras does not have it, and there are many other possibilities (beginning with 4 in Herodotus).
[2] Quotation unidentifiable (but perhaps Polybius, who has the only other preserved instance of "additionally gave" prosane/dwke).
