The headword -- third person singular, aorist active, of pinu/skw -- occurs in Homer Iliad 14.249 (web address 1), but is spelled there with a double-s (e)pi/nussen), which is necessary there both metrically and, probably, etymologically. The same orthographic idiosyncrasy appears in Hesychius epsilon5014, which otherwise = Apollonius Sophistes, Homeric Lexicon 73.33, Ambrosian Lexicon 1650 (according to Adler), and scholia to Iliad ad loc.
