[1] The second of these glosses is also in Hesychius and other lexica. Latte on Hesychius s.v. regards the headword adjective itself as quoted from Euripides, Trojan Women 514; if so, it is masculine/feminine accusative singular (rather than neuter nominative/accusative).
[2] This phrase is also noted, Adler reports, in the Ambrosian Lexicon (1534).
