Notes:
Comparable lemma, according to Adler, in the Ambrosian Lexicon (1500). The unglossed headword is the nominative singular form of this abstract noun; the quotation which follows has its accusative singular.
[1] Quotation not identified by Adler but identifiable via the TLG as an approximation of Cassius Dio 68.7.4 (translation at web address 1); see on this Theodoridis' Photius edition, vol.II p.LXXXIX. The minor textual differences probably crept in after the quotation was excerpted from its original context, transforming a ti to the tis of the present passage, and adding a later ti to replace the original. The translation here follows the original text of Dio. A literal translation of what is in the Suda would read, "...if anyone had done or suffered any evil..." On the emperor Trajan see generally tau 902.
