Translated headword: supplementing
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[no gloss]
Greek Original:
*)epeiskrino/menon.
Notes:
The headword (which must be quoted from somewhere) is the present participle, masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular, of the doubly compound verb e)peiskri/nomai. It is unglossed here but glossed in Hesychius epsilon4357 with e)peiserxo/menon ('coming in addition'). Adler also cites the unedited Ambrosian Lexicon (1614).
Outside lexicography, all extant attestations of the verb are in authors of the late antique and Byzantine period.
