Similar entry in ps.-Zonaras (see further below). The headword is third person singular, pluperfect, of the verb fu/w. It must be quoted from somewhere, but the number of extant possibilities (beginning with Xenophon and Plato) make it impossible to guess where. For other instances see under alpha 3925, epsilon 2424, epsilon 3100, tau 898.
As happens not infrequently in the Suda, the gloss (from prosple/kw) is much rarer than the headword. (In ps.-Zonaras the glossing verb is the unique periepla/kei.)
