Ἔνθους: τεθεοφορημένος, ἐνθουσιῶν. συναλοιφὴ δὲ τοῦ ἔνθεος. Ἀππιανός: ὁ δὲ Σκιπίων καὶ τὸ σχῆμα καὶ τὸ βλέμμα διαθεὶς ὥσπερ ἔνθους, ἔφη τὸ δαιμόνιον ἥκειν τὸ σύνηθες αὐτῷ καὶ καλεῖν ἐπὶ τοὺς πολεμίους. τουτέστι θεόληπτος.
