[Meaning] you will find.[1]
In the Epigrams: "writing: 'you meet [...]'."[2]
Greek Original:
*dh/eis: eu(rh/seis. e)n *)epigra/mmasi: graya/menos dh/eis.
Notes:
[1] Likewise in other lexica. From the scholia to Homer, Iliad 13.260, where the headword occurs; cf. delta 374, delta 481.
[2] Greek Anthology 6.126.4 (Dioscorides), which however has dh|/ois ["may you brandish"] for the lexicon's dh/eis ["you meet"]. On the epigram, taken from a Cretan warrior's shield, see Gow and Page (vol. I, 85), (vol. II, 245-246), and another extract at theta 420. Gow and Page note (vol. I, 85) that the Suda follows the Anthologia Palatina in reading dh/eis, but they find the emendation of dh|/ois given by Tyrwhitt to be convincing (vol. II, 246).
