Χαρινάδης: ὄνομα κύριον. οὗτος νωθὴς ἦν. καὶ παροιμία: κρείττων ἐστί σου Χαρινάδης βαδίζειν. ἐπὶ τῶν βραδυνόντων ἐν τῇ πορείᾳ.

Aristophanes, Wasps 232 (web address 1), with comment from the scholia there. For Charinades see also Peace 1155 (and LGPN ii s.v. no.1, where he is not regarded as a real person).
No such proverb appears in the paroemiographic collections; rather, here as occasionally elsewhere, 'proverb' = a more or less noteworthy phrase in Aristophanes.
