In common usage [this verb is used] as the majority [use it], but specifically [it is used] in reference to sex acts, or for submitting to someone in word. "Whether it is necessary to please you".[1] And elsewhere: "so that I would please you."[2]
Also [sc. attested is] "[they] indulging", [meaning they] giving favor. "They cut off his head, indulging a most unpleasant and diseased temperament."[3]

Χαρίζεσθαι: κοινῶς μὲν ὡς οἱ πολλοί, ἰδίως δὲ ἐπὶ ἀφροδισίων, ἢ ὑπὸ τοῦ ἐν λόγῳ ὑποκατακλίνεσθαι. εἴτε σοι δεῖ χαρίζεσθαι. καὶ πάλιν: ἵνα σοι χαρίσωμαι. καὶ Χαριζόμενοι, χάριν τιθέμενοι. οἱ δὲ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ ἀπέτεμον, ἀχαρίστῳ νοσήματι τῷ θυμῷ χαριζόμενοι.
