Χάρητος ὑποσχέσεις: Χάρης στρατηγὸς Ἀθηναίων εὐχερής τε καὶ ἑτοιμότατος πρὸς τὰς ὑποσχέσεις λέγεται γεγονέναι. ὅθεν ἡ παροιμία τάττεται ἐπὶ τῶν προχείρως ἐπαγγελλομένων.
