Greek Original:
*baqmi/dos.
Notes:
In ms M only, Adler reports.
The unglossed headword baqmi/dos (misprinted by Adler as bami/dos) is genitive singular of the feminine noun baqmi/s. It has evidently been extracted from somewhere -- probably Pindar, Nemean 5.1, where it refers to the base of a statue (web address 1); the line was striking enough to be quoted by Plutarch (Moralia 776C).
