Adler number: alpha,944

[Meaning] to teach.[1]
[Used] with a dative and [= or] an accusative; also governs the genitive: "all we faithful should make ourselves hear the gathering."[2]

Ἀκουτίσαι: διδάξαι. δοτικῇ καὶ αἰτιατικῇ: καὶ ἐπὶ γενικήν: ἀκουτισθῶμεν πάντες οἱ πιστοὶ συγκαλουμένης.
Notes:
[1] Likewise in Photius and elsewhere. The headword is aorist active infinitive of the verb ἀκουτίζω (attested in the Septuagint and elsewhere). It must be quoted from somewhere.
[2] (A marginal addition in ms A.) Quotation not identified by Adler but identifiable via the TLG as Michael Psellus, Poemata 24. 24t. Nicephorus Gregoras, Historia Romana vol.3 p.277 Schopen-Bekker has almost the same thing but the verb is ἀκουεσθῶμεν .
