The headword, neuter nominative/accusative singular of this adjective (see LSJ s.v. a)i+dh/s), is evidently quoted from somewhere; perhaps Hesiod, Shield 477 (of the swollen R. Anauros obliterating the tomb of Kyknos), though the glossing might be better suited to one of the instances in Plato.
