a(rmatwli/a and
a(martwli/a ("failure") and generally to explain this allusion to recent calendar reforms in
Athens). Again at
pi 576.
[2] As is implicit here, and already explicit at
alpha 1509, the Suda regards these two words as synonyms. This was an oddly common error: see LSJ under
a(matroxi/a, which actually meant "driving side by side".
