[1] The aorist participle a)pole/sas, masculine nominative singular, is here used to gloss the same form -- evidently quoted from somewhere (there are numerous possibilities) -- of the perfect participle of the headword verb. (This perfect participle has already occurred -- unglossed, and out of alphabetical order -- at alpha 3382. Other forms of this verb appear at alpha 3410, alpha 3413, alpha 3427, alpha 3671; forms of the simple verb at omicron 145, omicron 188, omicron 189, omega 75.)
