The headword participle, as transmitted, is masculine or neuter genitive singular; note however that in Hescyhius it is masculine nominative plural, i.e. a)naqoro/ntes glossed with a)naphdw=ntes. Either way, it must be quoted from somewhere -- and there are more (and more plausible) possibilities for the plural.
