"Then [he?] did not give him the oracle that he would overpower his enemies, but even pillaged the temple of Apollo."[4] And elsewhere: "so that would have been sufficient to destroy him tn the worst way of [all] men."[5]
But a)pe/xrhse also means was sufficient [for].[6]
