[1] That is, third person plural, aorist subjunctive, of paradi/dwmi. Perhaps the glossator has in mind that paradi/dwsi is singular (present indicative).
[2] Adler tentatively attributes the quotation to Symeon Metaphrastes. Compare in any event the Gospel accounts, esp. Mark 15:1. For Pontius Pilate see pi 1595.
