And the future perfect[1] [is] w)ru/comai ["I will have dug"].
Greek Original:
*)/wrusson: kai\ o( met' o)li/gon me/llwn w)ru/comai.
The unglossed primary headword is imperfect, probably first person singular (but possibly third person plural), of o)ru/ssw (omicron 650). It must be quoted from somewhere (perhaps Herodotus, who has 9 instances).
The future middle, first person singular, would be o)ru/comai with omicron; the future perfect w)ru/comai is found only here and (in a paradigm) in Gennadius Scholarius (15th c.).
[1] Literally, the near future. This technical term occurs only here in the Suda but is common in grammars and lexica elsewhere. See generally A. Wouters, "The ancient Greek (and Latin) grammarians and the met' o)li/gon me/llwn tense", in J. De Clerq & P. Desmet (eds.), Florilegium Historiographiae Linguisticae ... Maurice Leroy (Louvain 1994) 97-129.
