Adler number: eta,105
Translated headword: established
Vetting Status: high
[Meaning he/she/it] settled.[1]

Greek Original:
*(/hdrasen: e)sth/ricen. kai\ *(hdrasme/nos, be/baios, pa/gios.
[1] From the Synagoge (Lexica Segueriana 249.7 Bachmann); see also Photius, Lexicon eta54 Theodoridis; and compare a scholion to Homer, Iliad 11.28, where the present glossing verb is glossed by the present headword: sth/ricen: e)/sthsen, h(/drasen; 'settled, [meaning] placed, established'. Theodoridis on Photius notes Naber's suggestion that the headword is extracted from Symmachus (Psalms 95.10).
[2] As a comparandum for this second part of the gloss Adler indicates the Lexicon Ambrosianum (Ambrosianus B12 sup. 77r): h(drasme/nos kai\ h(draiwme/nos: a)sfalh/s. In any event, note a possible link with the Glossarium Cyrilli, since Coislinianus 394 113r has: h(drasme/na: pa/gia, be/baia, h(drume/na; 'established: solid, firm, mature' (neuter plural forms instead of masculine singular).
