Similar entry in ps.-Zonaras (see further below). The headword is third person singular, pluperfect, of the verb fu/w. It must be quoted from somewhere, but the number of extant possibilities (beginning with Xenophon and Plato) make it impossible to guess where. As happens not infrequently in the Suda, the gloss (from prosple/kw) is much rarer than the headword. (In ps.-Zonaras the glossing verb is the unique periepla/kei.)
