The headword is perhaps generated by what is to follow (for which cf. generally sigma 502), but the other lexica do not have that material, and Theodoridis takes si/tou to be quoted from Homer, Odyssey 14.456; cf. Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon.
[2] This aims to translate the phrase transmitted, at Photius sigma242 Theodoridis and again here: a)podikei=n poihsame/nh. But the infinitive a)podikei=n is obelized by Theodoridis, and both he and Adler before him mention the proposal of Salmasius (Claude de Saumaise, 1588-1653) to emend it to the noun a)po/leiyin "desertion".
