Adler number: pi,619
Translated headword: having come alongside
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Meaning] stretching beside; as dih/konta ["reaching"] [means] extending out.[1]
But e)k tou= parei/kontos ["from what happens, from what is allowable"] [means] from what comes forth.[2]

*parh/konta: paratei/nonta: w(s dih/konta e)pekteino/mena. e)k tou= parei/kontos de\ a)nti\ tou= a)nadidou=ntos.
Notes:
The first part of the entry is also in Photius pi350 (but with the headword transmitted as parei/konta, as in ms. G of the Suda; Theodoridis notes it as corrupt) and other lexica. The correct headword (which must be quoted from somewhere) is present participle of parh/kw, masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative plural.
[1] cf. delta 1005.
[2] cf. epsilon 680 (and under pi 618). This addendum to the entry is lacking, Adler reports, in mss AFV.
